  • Go through the Award Criteria and Award Categories
  • Visit the Nominations tab, create a unique user-name and password (this will enable you to edit your entry later on, if need be)
  • Fill in the form, choose your category and click on ‘Submit’

Eligibility:

  • You may nominate your own company, a supplier, a business partner, or even a client.
  • Third-party nominations, as well as self-nominations, are accepted.
  • Each company/facility must be at least 1-year old in operations in the UAE.
  • Individuals being nominated must have a valid visa for a Middle Eastern country.
  • You may nominate your company in only five applicable categories.

Evaluation Period:

  • Entries should be mainly based on the period starting from January 2024 to April 2025.

Nomination Process:

  • Nominations should be detailed written submissions answering the category criteria.
  • A supporting documents PDF should be included to allow the judges to make informed decisions.
  • All nominations should be submitted via the online entry form on the event website.
  • Nominations submitted via email will not be acknowledged.
  • The online entry form involves a quick, simple registration.
  • Following registration, a written nomination of up to 500 words is required to summarize the entry and the key points for the judges' consideration.

Important Notes:

  • The organizers reserve the right to amend or remove award categories.
  • The judging panel has the right to withhold any award if, in its view, the entries do not meet the required standards.
  • The jury's decision will be final and binding on all nominees, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Submission Requirements: The Awards submission should include the following:

  • A maximum of ten (10) pages
  • Description Page is the first page (maximum 800 words – no images)
  • Following pages can comprise Images and Graphics – with project images (multiple images can be placed on each image page).
  • Captions - Each image can include a 25-word maximum caption. The captions are optional.
  • Awards submission document shall be less than 5Mb in pdf format. The pdf file only needs to be screen resolution (96 dpi) for juries to review.
  • Submissions must be in English

**Do not provide links such as WeTransfer, Dropbox, Onedrive or similar.

  • Understand the Criteria: Carefully review the criteria for the specific award category you are entering. Your submission text should directly address these criteria.
  • Plan Ahead: Don't wait until the last minute. Gather all necessary data and supporting documents in advance and organize them systematically.
  • Assess Your Strengths: Before selecting a category, honestly assess your company's or individual's strengths, weaknesses, and achievements relevant to each category. You can nominate in more than one category.
  • Think Like a Judge: Consider what a jury member would look for when evaluating nominations. Write your submission clearly and focus on highlighting the most impactful information.
  • Keep it Concise: Follow the "Simple, Systematic, Succinct" principle. Ensure your information is clear, within word and size limits, and directly addresses the criteria.
  • Highlight Excellence: Focus on presenting excellent and unique projects or case studies that demonstrate your achievements.
  • Use Multimedia: Enhance your nomination with relevant project pictures to make a stronger impact.

Document Size: If providing supporting documents, ensure the file size is under 5MB.

Here are some tips for common software:

  • InDesign: Use "Smallest File Size" PDF preset, then in the Compression Tab, select Image Quality as High or Medium.
  • Photoshop: Use "Export As" and change settings for JPG (e.g., 1200 pixels wide at 100dpi).
  • Adobe Reader: Use "Save As Other" and select "Reduced Size PDF".
